Hotel is centrally located at Tau, within walking distance from the ferry
quay where the Stavanger ferry docks. Tau is an important traffic junction in
Ryfylke whether you come by the Stavanger-Tau or Lauvik-Oanes ferry. The hotel
has 16 double and 6 single rooms, restaurant and bar. You can find more

The
new facilities in the Pulpit Rock area will incorporate the Pulpit Rock Lodge
with its 28 en suite rooms, the pulpit rock cabin with 16 rooms and shared
bathroom and finally Vatne Farm with 24 bed places. Eventually Vatne Farm is
going to be restored and used as a mountaineering museum and conference room
with lodging possibilities.
Food is an important part of the Pulpit Rock experience, and we work actively to preserve culinary tradition. We have a new and exciting menu, based on traditional meals and the use of local ingredients. The menu will vary according to season and the mood of the chef.
